I’ve been travelling a lot more recently and am now getting into the swing of being prepared for that long haul flight. I thought I’d share my inflight beauty essentials with you guys; it’s taken me a while to realise you don’t need to take your whole make up bag and a few good products are all you need to look and feel slightly more human after a flight.
The other day a friend asked me if there was anything I would have changed about our wedding day. My initial answer was no; at the end of the day whatever happens, it will always seem perfect because it’s the day you marry the person you love. Everything else is just a bonus surrounding that moment.
The question did get me thinking though; I would have …
This week started in London and I’m now typing from our Airbnb in Venice Beach, LA. In between trying to beat jet lag and feeling like we’ve always lived in our little Venice apartment it’s definitely a slightly more LA themed Sunday Favourites this week.
Father’s Day- Today in the UK it’s Father’s Day, these two are definitely more to me than a Sunday favourite but I wanted to give them a mention today! I’m lucky enough to have two father figures in my life, which makes me feel like one lucky daughter. This is a photo of them as I walked down the stairs on our wedding day, they’re my all time favourites.
Clinique Pep-start– Due to some late nights organising bits before we left and getting no sleep on the plane over to LA, this little product has been a life saver or shall I say eye-saver.
Breakfasts at Gjelina– Steve and I always visit this place when we come to LA because the food is so good. As we’re staying pretty close, the first couple of mornings we spent the early hours drinking coffee and catching up in the LA sunshine.
Californian Cacti– If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I have a thing for cacti. LA is filled with tree-like cacti, which I absolutely love! I snapped this one on a morning walk.
LA Vlogs- Steve is vlogging our time in LA and at Vidcon. You can follow along on our adventures on his channel here.
Hope you guys had great weeks and would love to hear some of your favourite things from this week too.
Though the weather might not reflect it, it’s the beginning of summer in the UK which means the beginning of festival season. At the beginning of April we travelled to Palm Springs for Coachella, though the weather is slightly different to the UK climate, you live in hope that …
This week feels like it’s all flowed into one. Steve and I spent the weekend mainly painting and decorating the studio, so on Monday we were still sorting the final touches and then arranging furniture etc. The studio is now nearly finished and I’m looking forward to having a place away from the flat that I can dedicate to work and coming up with new ideas. Below are a few of my favourites from this week.
Sugafina Martini Olives– These may look like something that’s supposed to go in your cocktail, but they’re actually chocolate covered almonds. I picked them up on our recent trip to LA and they’re not only cute but taste awesome too!
Every week I’m aiming to bring you a round-up of things I’ve enjoyed the week before. Below are a few bits I’ve loved this week.
Evening Walks– I’ve been really enjoying the longer eveningsand walking the dogs much later. With the evening light getting longer and after a day of sitting in front of the computer, it gives me an hour to get some fresh air and enjoy being outside. I snapped this shot of Blue just as he sped off to chase a bird.
