Last month I received an invitation to attend an afternoon tea at The Ritz. The afternoon tea itself was organised by Pandora in celebration of their new spring collection and the launch of their new style friendship bracelet. I’d never been to the Ritz before and was so excited to explore somewhere so iconic in London.
As you enter the hotel’s revolving door and walk through the beautiful foyer you start to realise how much history must be within each of it’s rooms. The afternoon tea was hosted in the Burlington room and it was such a special experience to be greeted by the long table set and ready for our afternoon tea to start.
After taking a closer look at Pandora’s new collection and resisting the urge to instantly purchase this ring, we sat down to a glass of champagne and a look at the new style of friendship bracelets. They still look like the original design but now have a pull string clasp making it easier to take on and off.
The evening continued with freshly made sandwiches, warm scones and getting to know the awesome group of women who were sat around the table next to me. One of my favourite things about attending events like this is the new people you meet; It’s been one of my goals for this year to put myself out there a bit more, so events like this are the perfect way to take me out of my comfort zone.
I had the best evening and walked back to the tube happy and full of mini sandwiches! Thanks so much to Pandora for inviting me, I have a feeling I’ll try and find an occasion to visit The Ritz again very soon!
* This post is not sponsored, I was invited to attend the event and received the new bracelet, but all the words and opinions above are my own.
