I’ve had quite a few people ask about the white dress I wore to install the flowers for the Away event up in London last month. If you didn’t catch it, the post is here!
It’s actually a dress I picked up from Zara a couple of years ago and haven’t stopped wearing since. I love the combination of a loose fit tent dress, flattering arms, but still takes you in at the waist. I thought I’d find some alternative dresses for you guys that capture that chilled, 70’s, billow sleeve vibe!
We should start with this Belted Caramel Linen Dress * from & Other Stories, which is now in the sale!
Meadows is a new brand that captures vintage style with floral embroidered notes. Their dresses are slightly more money than a high-street brand, but worth the investment if it’s a piece you’d want to wear again and again. This Bloom Dress is a bit of a dream!
Zara also have a couple of great dresses at that are the same kind of vibe also.
This is the famous Poplin Dress that everyone’s wearing, it’s still available in black, few sizes in white but I would suggest this neutral one that would look great with hiking boots!
This dress is very similar to my embroidered white dress but in a great shade of dusky pink.
This classic boho style dress* is a staple from Free People, it comes in so many different colour-ways and is the perfect for chilled out dinner or holiday dress.
This Cotton Folk dress from French Connection, which is actually the closest match to my original Zara dress.
I’d highly recommend checking out local vintage stores for proper 70s embroidered goodness too!
ASOS have multiple but these are my favourites.
If button dresses* are your thing.
Have an awesome Tuesday!
